Job Overview

InGenesis is actively seeking a Endoscopic Technician to collaborate with our esteemed client. This position involves facilitating the coordination of patient care activities during endoscopic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the setup, upkeep, sanitation, disinfection, and sterilization of all endoscopic, ultrasound, and laser apparatus utilized in endoscopic operations.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms in a clean and organized manner.
  • Support the physician and registered nurse in providing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
  • Assist in the transportation of patients to designated areas.
  • Develop and modify report templates for physician-generated documentation.
  • Ensure that dictated reports include all essential information.
  • Help maintain an adequate inventory of supplies to ensure comprehensive service to endoscopy.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Engage in ongoing monitoring and quality enhancement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduation from a surgical technologist program is preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in endoscopy is necessary.
  • Certification from an accredited endoscopy education program or completion of a surgical technologist program may substitute for the required experience.
