Job Title: Sr Settlement Processor

Under the direct supervision of the Title Branch Manager, the Sr. Settlement Processor plays a crucial role in the settlement process, ensuring seamless coordination with lenders, real estate offices, and service companies. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with lenders, real estate offices, and service companies to obtain necessary information for settlement.
  • Verify the accuracy of lender packages and prepare packages for settlement, closing disclosures, and title commitments.
  • Assist clients and agents with questions regarding upcoming settlements and provide timely updates on closing status.
  • Coordinate with lenders and other parties regarding fees, taxes, conditions, and other settlement-related matters.
  • Responsible for gathering data from real estate offices, lenders, tax collectors, and other relevant parties.
  • Prepare daily deposits and process incoming and outgoing recordings and letters of indemnity.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of title-specific or similar experience.
  • Knowledge of title industry software (RamQuest preferred).
  • Notary Public and licensed title insurance agent.
  • Strong customer support orientation and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook).
