Compensation Package

We offer a competitive target compensation package of approximately $45,000 per year, based on 45 hours of work per week. In addition to your hourly wage, you'll also receive:

Job Description

As a Business Development Manager at Waterway Carwash, you'll lead a team in providing exceptional customer service while managing daily operations to ensure a positive experience for customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers, identifying needs, and selling car wash services, memberships, and other services
  • Effectively managing daily operations, leading and managing teams to meet customer expectations
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment to ensure a positive visit for every customer
  • Managing daily store production through planning and execution
  • Ensuring store is opened and staffed correctly, following closing procedures, and securing assets
  • Maintaining high service standards by managing quality and customer service standards
  • Performing quality checks, coaching teams to improve results, identifying trends, and recommending improvements
  • Completing all required administrative tasks punctually and accurately
  • Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns or failures, monitoring and managing store inventories
  • Leading, managing, and supervising employees: providing daily direction and coaching to enhance performance and employee satisfaction, providing effective orientation, training, and feedback to develop employees

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An associate's degree or above (or a current college senior) OR at least 2 years' experience in any of the following: supervisory or management experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting; professional sales (B2B or B2C); available to work a retail schedule (5 of 7 days, 45 hours, including weekend and holidays)
  • The ability to work outdoors year-round, with exposure to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather, humidity, wet surfaces, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery, and moving parts
  • Far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • The ability to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members, managers, and customers for business-related purposes

About the Location

This role is located at our Maryland Heights/Westport location in Missouri.
