Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Manager to join our team at Vallely Sport & Marine. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and coordination among departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to multiple levels of employees, including payroll, HR, and bookkeeping record-keeping and coordination, new employee on-boarding and training.
  • Office Management: Maintain the company's filing system, assist with the implementation of new administration systems, and lead the way in using office equipment and software.
  • Financial Management: Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Recordkeeping: Establish and maintain a system of financial recordkeeping, including ledgers, recording payments, writing receipts, posting cash journals, and preparing and making bank deposits.
  • Accounts Payable: Establish and maintain a system of accounts payable, including invoicing, purchase orders, pay vouchers, check register, and ledgers.
  • General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, including the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books, and setting up new accounts.
