Job Summary

Cole Haan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer, Store Design to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and developing impactful and scalable design solutions for immersive retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams to complete individual projects by leveraging design processes and best practices to ensure the creative intent, design deliverables, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Create and develop design solutions that align with the Cole Haan brand and retail business strategies.
  • Work with a team to develop and manage all architectural and 3D environmental components, thinking of the needs of the global consumer, the Cole Haan brand, and our business partners.
  • Communicate and present design concepts to the Director of Stores, create 3D models, 2D drawings, presentations, and details that effectively communicate design intent.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive, technically sophisticated design experience in architectural, experiential, or brand design.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply design skills, including concepting, drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, texture, and spatial design in scale, visual presentation development, and space planning layouts.
  • Proven track record of managing ambiguity and effectively collaborating in the creation process.
  • Expert oral and written communication and presentation skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations to senior management.

  • Base Salary Range: $100,000* annually + bonus potential
