About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer to join our team at Sol de Janeiro. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for furthering the development of 360 campaigns across the category, from concept to final execution. You will partner closely with the Senior Art Director, Body & SPF, and the entire category team to translate marketing objectives into design layouts and go-to-market digital assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop clear visual ideas and concepts in tandem with the category leads and Senior Art Director.
  • Stay on top of all visual trends and maintain best practices for the industry and by touchpoint to meet audiences where they are and develop breakthrough creative within the category.
  • Concept, execute, and deliver 360 assets (animates and static) for e-commerce websites, product graphics, social media content, paid media, email campaigns, and email templates.
  • Oversee post-production selects, and image retouching, ensuring all creative is brought to market as intended.
  • Collaborate with teammates to oversee all details of the 360 campaign in partnership with the category managers in both copy and marketing.
  • Intake feedback, interpret, and cascade direction to ensure designs meet the best solutions.
  • Organize and formalize the delivery of completed work to ensure executional teams are set up for success.
Requirements
  • BA/BS/BFA degree in Graphic Design or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a relevant field in an in-house or agency setting, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and Figma.
  • Deep knowledge of the print and digital world, with experience in e-commerce, paid media, and social media.
  • Understanding of file preparation, die lines, print layouts, and printing processes for print, in-store, and out-of-home.
  • Expertise in full-funnel 360 campaign development, with hands-on experience in graphic design, digital animation, and print production.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.
  • Thoughtful, empathetic, and positive attitude, with an infectious personal drive that energizes others.
  • A proactive, self-starter work ethic, with the ability to operate independently within a small team.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to understand the objectives of all cross-functional partners and work toward solutions that meet that need and uphold the creative integrity of the brand.
