About the Role

At Danaher Corporation, we are committed to accelerating the real-life impact of tomorrow's science and technology. As a key member of our Corporate Finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our publicly-disclosed sustainability data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee a system of controls to support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and external assurance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain policies, processes, and internal controls that support the integrity of our sustainability data.
  • Engage with internal and external audit functions to support effective and efficient internal audit oversight of external sustainability reporting.
  • Stay updated on emerging sustainability-related regulations, industry trends, and reporting frameworks, and provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Provide training and education to internal stakeholders to enhance awareness and understanding related to sustainability data assurance and controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (or equivalent) with 7+ years of professional experience, or Master's degree in field with 7+ years experience, or Doctoral degree in field with 4+ years experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls, with an ability to analyze and translate internal control requirements into workable information for communication to operating management.
  • Strong global business perspective with capability of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing cross-functional, matrixed organization.
  • Fast learner who can rapidly adapt to Danaher's culture and gain the confidence of corporate, platform, and operating company leaders.
  • Detail-oriented and demonstrate critical thinking, with the ability to analyze complicated issues and boil them down to key points, develop action plans, and implement them.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) equivalent.
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting rules and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
