Job Overview

Bernstein Management Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Utilities and Sustainability Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our energy management compliance, resident utilities recovery process, and expense management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement energy management strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Coordinate with building managers to ensure accurate and timely utility billing and recovery.
  • Administer company-wide utility accounts, including gas, water, and electric services.
  • Review and analyze utility bills for accuracy and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team to develop and implement sustainability initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to building managers on energy management best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to energy management and sustainability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science or business administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in utility management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
