Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Technician to join our client's team in Houston. This role will provide support to the Specialists in the growing portfolio of new discoveries and development of existing operations in offshore Gulf of Mexico U.S. waters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil & gas regulatory knowledge and experience in reporting technical support, preferably offshore GoM. Knowledge of regulatory regimes/agencies, including BSEE, USCG, ABS, EPA, and BOEM, is also required.
Key qualifications for success include:
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in oil & gas regulatory knowledge/projects and reporting technical support
- General knowledge of regulatory regimes/agencies, preferably including BSEE, USCG, ABS, EPA, and BOEM
- Desire and proactive attitude to learn and improve in areas not currently skilled or experienced in energy regulatory areas
- Knowledge of eWell and TIMSWeb software is preferred
- Ability to manage databases, especially related to well files
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency status is required
