About the Role:

Janie and Jack is seeking a motivated Store Operations Leader to guide our retail team. Our Store Operations Leaders play a crucial role in our success by fostering a customer-first environment. They take ownership of the business, leading teams to achieve and surpass financial and operational objectives. As champions of our brand, they confidently drive outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee overall store performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Serve as a results-oriented role model for the team, focusing on sales generation and exceptional customer service, while coaching staff to enhance selling opportunities and build authentic customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies to boost sales, while understanding store layout and capacity.
  • Leverage tools and resources to elevate the customer experience.
  • Adapt to change and uncertainty, generating innovative ideas to grow the business.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to meet and exceed daily and weekly business goals through effective in-store and omni-channel selling.
  • Hold oneself and others accountable for performance.
  • Demonstrate operational strength and resourcefulness.
  • Build a dynamic team through networking, recruitment, and anticipating future staffing needs based on business goals.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that values diversity, inclusivity, teamwork, creativity, and brand passion.
  • Identify training needs, create tailored training plans, and implement various training methods to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of management experience in specialty retail or multi-unit retail environments (preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets.
  • Ability to identify top talent and effectively train, develop, and retain team members.
  • Experience in creating merchandising strategies and implementing visual changes to drive business results.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Act with authenticity, sincerity, and transparency.
  • Availability to work during peak business periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and fixtures up to 40 pounds as required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
