Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (MT), you will perform assigned laboratory tests across various specialty departments, including Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology.

By executing laboratory tests and procedures, you will assist in providing critical data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.


  • Daily responsibilities encompass complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their outcomes.
  • You will also manage specimen receiving and organize supplies upon arrival in the department.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving instrument issues, documenting corrective actions in the appropriate logs, and performing necessary instrumentation repairs will be part of your duties.
  • Ensure that quality control measures are properly executed and recorded, adhering to departmental procedures for corrective actions.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to train new employees and/or students.
  • Actively participate in phlebotomy and accession responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences or a related field.
  • Medical Technologists (MT) registry is required to begin.

  • ASCP or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is a requirement.
