Job Responsibilities and QualificationsWe are looking for a Medical Technologist to deliver expert laboratory services and drive positive outcomes. Our collaborative team values the patient experience and is eager to welcome a dedicated professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise and timely laboratory tests, ensuring adherence to protocols and deadlines.
- Oversee departmental operations in the absence of supervisory staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to patient results.
- Execute urgent procedures within established timeframes.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to interpret patient results accurately.
- Monitor pending logs and resolve outstanding tasks effectively.
- Implement quality control measures and manage critical laboratory specimens.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate Degree is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- A valid State of Florida Technologist License is required or must be obtained during the interview process.
- Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas is preferred.
