Key Responsibilities
- Conduct precise and timely laboratory tests.
- Consult with medical technologists and supervisors regarding the interpretation of clinical laboratory data.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient results.
- Execute urgent procedures and routine tests within established turnaround times.
- Monitor pending logs and result logs, addressing any outstanding tasks.
- Implement quality control procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Take corrective actions when results deviate from established guidelines.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
Qualifications
- A 2-Year/Associate Degree in Science is required.
- A State of Florida Technician License or the ability to obtain one during the interview process.
- ASCP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
