Position Overview:

This role offers an excellent opportunity to become a vital part of our IT division. You will oversee the efficient and effective management of IT Infrastructure Operations, ensuring the delivery of services meets business expectations and complies with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a local team of support technicians, alongside offshore infrastructure teams, covering areas such as networking, server management, database administration, telephony, and cloud services.
  • Oversee the management of the enterprise network, including WAN and LAN, and coordinate with internal staff and managed service providers.
  • Possess or pursue Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise certification, with a minimum of CCNA.
  • Manage Wide Area Network (WAN) configurations and support, ensuring connectivity across all operational sites.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of network security protocols, including firewall management and internet access protection.
  • Administer Local Area Network (LAN) setups, ensuring optimal performance and security at each operational site.
  • Oversee the wireless network infrastructure, including configuration and management of Cisco and Meraki systems.
  • Ensure the development and upkeep of the network infrastructure to maintain stability, security, and optimization in alignment with business service requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and security, utilizing tools for optimization and proactive threat detection.
  • Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) processes.
  • Collaborate with IT Service and Support Managers to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for various responsibilities.
  • Implement IT security frameworks and controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Support VPN configurations for secure external access to network resources.
  • Administer email gateway configurations, ensuring effective spam filtering and traffic management.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Active Directory and server environments.
  • Manage hardware configurations, including servers and storage devices, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Oversee mobile device management policies to ensure security compliance.
  • Maintain an asset inventory program to track IT resources.
  • Engage with multiple vendors for service and support as needed.
  • Provide general support for IT service management requests related to network and systems issues.
  • Effectively troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Supervise the team's ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Adapt to a diverse and multicultural work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-regional IT service teams and technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT management or supervisory roles.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience as a network administrator or engineer, with knowledge of routing, switching, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and SLA reporting is preferred.
