Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Park Village Health Care Center. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional personal care and assistance to our residents, promoting independence and dignity in accordance with safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring.
  • Provide residents with tub baths and obtain weight for nurse.
  • Lift residents according to needs determination, using proper assistance.
  • Maintain a safe environment by making resident beds, changing linens, and organizing rooms.
  • Answer call lights in a timely manner.
  • Assist new residents in transition to facility, labeling and putting away belongings, advising of meal and activities schedules.
  • Maintain clean work rooms, records resident data on various logs, and properly store equipment.
  • Attend required in-service training and meetings.
  • Other tasks as assigned within scope of practice.
Requirements
  • Must be certified by the State of Ohio or enrolled in a certified NATP program.
  • Must obtain certification within 4 months of hire.
  • Must have basic communication skills and a willingness to learn and be taught by others.
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions.
