Key Responsibilities
The Global Litigation and Compliance Counsel is expected to manage the Company's global litigation docket and enhance Genesys' compliance program. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and manage outside counsel relationships in litigation matters.
• Lead internal investigation efforts and develop litigation strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws.
• Collaborate with business and legal colleagues throughout the Company.
• Assist in developing compliance policies and procedures.
• Aid in the evaluation and engagement of trustworthy business partners.
• Enhance visibility of ethics and integrity initiatives.
• Report progress and challenges to leadership.
• Provide support for other company initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory trends across markets.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a law degree from an accredited law school and bar membership in a US State or Territory. A minimum of 10 years legal experience in private practice and in-house roles is required, with substantial litigation experience with a government agency or major technology company. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as experience in international business development and regulatory compliance. Proficient knowledge of legal issues in the high technology industry is also required. The candidate must be able to navigate complex legal and regulatory compliance issues and demonstrate personal qualities such as leadership, professionalism, a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $175,500.00 - $344,500.00, with potential commission or performance-based bonuses.
