This role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence at our Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA, for two days each week. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Your Responsibilities:
The AP Technology Deployment department is seeking multiple Project Engineers to facilitate the design and implementation of the AP300 project.

The Project Engineers will report to the AP300 Project Engineering Manager and will be tasked with overseeing one or more technical domains.

This role is unique in that the Project Engineer will simultaneously fulfill the roles of Project Manager, Issue Manager, and Technical Lead.

  • Ensure the completion of required scope to support plant operations.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
  • Provide accurate demand signals to functional areas and collaborate with Resource Managers to allocate resources appropriately.
  • Identify risks and challenges within functional areas and promote solution-oriented thinking.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and formulate recovery strategies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinators.
  • Represent the discipline in Product Development Review Meetings (PDRM).
  • Support the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead as necessary.

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following qualifications to the team:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Previous experience with AP1000 or AP300 projects is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as project demands arise (up to +/- 10% during peak periods).
  • Expertise in at least one of the following technical areas:
    • Nuclear systems design
    • Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design
    • NSSS components design and analysis
    • Piping layout and/or analysis
    • Licensing
    • Plant layout integration
    • Digital Design (configuration control)
    • Civil, Structural, and Architectural engineering
    • Electrical design
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective networks across various functional areas.
