This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters.


Your Responsibilities:
Engage in learning and applying nuclear safety culture principles and human performance tools at Westinghouse.

Contribute to and/or lead internal departmental initiatives, which may include:

- Enhancing future estimation processes for new plant constructions.
- Developing a comprehensive database for Front End Engineering Development (FEED) scopes and technical specifications.
- Streamlining efforts for long lead procurement items and construction support.
- Collaborating with construction partners, module suppliers, potential clients, and regulatory bodies to support stakeholder engagement plans.
- Assisting in various aspects of future bidding and proposal activities.


This involves:
- Analyzing technical specifications for new nuclear power plants from prospective clients.
- Evaluating technical specifications for partnership proposals from other design organizations.
- Formulating Westinghouse's technical positions with input from relevant technical teams and experienced resources.
- Defending these positions in discussions with potential clients or partners.
- Assessing incoming technical inquiries and devising response strategies.


When assigned a technical inquiry, your role will be to collaborate with the Global Engineering Services organization to create a response plan and provide cost estimates. You will compile existing technical design information into comprehensive reports. Once the response plan is approved, you will implement it, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


If certain tasks are delegated to other teams, you will coordinate with the responsible engineering groups to ensure support calculations, analyses, or reviews align with our schedule, budget, and quality commitments.


Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with a preference for Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to build effective networks across various functional areas.
