The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Foreman 2 to oversee the maintenance and repair of highways and roadways. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a crew of equipment operators and laborers to perform routine maintenance and repair operations on highways and roadways.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize disruptions to traffic.
- Investigate highway-related complaints and respond promptly and appropriately.
- Review and maintain road log records to recommend and assist in effective priority planning of work operations and estimates.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following proper safety procedures and utilizing equipment effectively.
Requirements
- One year of experience as a Highway Foreman 1 or two years of experience in lead work or skilled tradesman duties on a highway maintenance or construction project.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania Driver's License.
