Highway Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled Highway Foreman 2 to oversee the work of a general highway maintenance crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising the crew's activities, ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of highways and roadways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule crew activities to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Supervise and direct crew members in the performance of maintenance activities
- Investigate highway-related complaints and respond promptly and appropriately
- Review and maintain road log records to recommend and assist in effective priority planning of work operations and estimates
- Maintain a safe work environment by following proper safety procedures and utilizing equipment
Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Highway Foreman 1 or two years of experience in lead work or skilled tradesman duties on a highway maintenance or construction project
- Valid Class C Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Ability to perform essential job functions
