Patient Registration Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Registration Interviewer to join our team at Christus Health. As a Patient Registration Interviewer, you will be responsible for registering patients in accordance with hospital procedures, verifying patient information, and ensuring accurate and timely registration of patients for services.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients in accordance with hospital procedures and policies.
- Verify patient information, including demographic data, insurance coverage, and medical history.
- Accurately and efficiently register patients for services, including surgeries, admissions, and diagnostic testing.
- Obtain and verify required documents from patients, including consent forms and insurance information.
- Use insurance verification tools to ensure accurate and timely registration of patients.
- Scan and upload required documents into patient accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and registration processes.
- Meet productivity and quality standards, including accuracy and timeliness of registration processes.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: C-Heartsaver certification.
