Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Registration Interviewer to join our team at Christus Health. As a Patient Registration Interviewer, you will be responsible for registering patients in accordance with hospital procedures, verifying patient information, and ensuring accurate and efficient registration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and verified.
  • Verify patient insurance benefits and notify patients of their financial responsibility at the time of service.
  • Collect payments on patient accounts and balance designated cash drawers at the end of each shift.
  • Assist patients with insurance, billing, and other inquiries related to their hospital account.
  • Facilitate appointments with Medicaid Eligibility Workers and/or Financial Counselors as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: C-Heartsaver certification.
