In the role of a ground combat operations specialist, you will leverage your tactical and technical acumen regarding land combat strategies and their integration with electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO). Your proficiency will enable you to collaborate with leaders across naval, aerial, and special operations to formulate evaluations on the preparedness of Service-level units for their EMSO missions and their deployment readiness.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12 years of service in the US Army or US Marine Corps (USMC)
  • Experience at the division level in one or more of the following domains: electronic warfare (EW), air defense artillery (ADA), radar, fires, spectrum management, or signals intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Proficiency in EMS and non-kinetic effects planning, execution, and evaluation processes
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive mission analysis and resource integration to assess capabilities for mission fulfillment
  • Familiarity with tactical and operational level targeting methodologies
  • Insight into current US Army or USMC capabilities and tactics, along with vulnerabilities in the context of threat EMSO, to provide recommendations for service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings from Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) evaluations
  • Competence in drafting objective and credible reports and delivering presentations with minimal need for revisions
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 15 years of experience in land operations and combat systems
  • Familiarity with EMSO operations and spectrum management
  • Ability to assess emerging EMSO threats and present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on evaluation outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP Certification is a plus

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
