About the Role:

As a Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) at Walgreens, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of pharmacy services, including prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and health and wellness services. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and service. Your expertise and knowledge will be essential in helping us to deliver on our mission to create more joyful lives through better health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient care and services, including prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and health and wellness services.

• Work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and service.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and provide expert advice to our customers on a range of health and wellness topics.

• Collaborate with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and services to our customers.

• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.

• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.

• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.

• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.
