Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in various functions within our mental health and specialty pharmacy. This role involves the dispensing of medical prescriptions and performing essential clerical tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
- Accurately fill prescription orders for verification by the supervising pharmacist.
- Manage the ordering, receiving, and storage of pharmacy supplies.
- Maintain inventory records by verifying medication stock and entering data into the system.
- Collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Perform various clerical duties to support pharmacy operations.
- Assist in multi-med and single-med packaging.

Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a clinical setting.
- At least 1 year of experience in prescription data entry.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Experience in retail pharmacy is advantageous.
