Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Agronomic Business Development Representative to join our team in Southwest Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a territory, developing agronomic knowledge, and building strong relationships with growers.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand, promoting our products and values to customers and partners.
- Develop and maintain expertise in agronomy and technical knowledge of Stine seed products, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Manage existing dealer accounts and recruit new dealerships, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Communicate and implement sales programs and policies, working closely with Regional Sales Agronomists to provide support and guidance.
- 3+ years of experience in the agriculture industry, including agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with growers and other stakeholders.
- Proven sales techniques, negotiating skills, and ability to overcome obstacles, with a track record of success in dealer development and retention.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
