Job Summary

The Financial Operations Specialist will oversee the management of child support debts by handling all adjustments, suspense alerts, debt obligations, and preparing all arrears calculations. This role requires analyzing and evaluating information, documents, and pay records to make critical judgments regarding the handling of any adjustments, suspense alerts, and debt obligations to ensure the families served by YoungWilliams PC receive their support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Process Coordination: Coordinates activities upon request of the enforcement/establishment specialist to handle specified financial processes on identified CSS cases.
  • Information Collection and Evaluation: Collects and evaluates information in order to perform requested case-specific tasks in order to secure or enforce child support orders.
  • Suspense Alert Management: Works suspense alerts for assigned child support specialists and deletes the alerts when appropriate.
  • Order Obligation and Debt Activation: Obligates orders and activates debts.
  • Arrears Calculation Preparation: Prepares arrears calculations upon request.
  • Arrears Calculation and Affidavit Preparation: Prepares arrears calculations and affidavit of arrears.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
  • Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates Degree or employment equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in child support and experience with KAECSES.
  • Skills: Problem-solving, multi-tasking, attention to detail, customer service, communication, teamwork, and attendance/punctuality.
