We are currently seeking a part-time accounting intern to contribute to our thriving fintech organization. This position offers flexible working hours, typically ranging from 16 to 24 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

  • Record and process daily cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions in both the general and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records, including receipts, returns, and other transactions.
  • Assist the Senior Accountant and Controller with month-end closing procedures across the suite of companies within the Valmar ecosystem.
  • Support administrative functions within the accounting department to enhance overall operations.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating the energy and capability to work with colleagues to address challenges and achieve organizational goals.
