Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in the process of hiring a Billing Clerk to join our team in the insurance industry, based in WILLIAMSVILLE, New York. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where your main responsibilities will involve managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for tasks related to billing and finances.
• Maintain and manage computerized billing systems and EHR SYSTEM.
• Use Epic Software and About Time software to enhance efficiency in work processes.
• Perform accounting functions and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Answer inbound calls from customers and address their queries or concerns.
• Strictly adhere to all company policies and regulations.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiency in Computerized Billing
• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM
• Proficiency in Epic Software
• Experience with About Time
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Answering Inbound Calls
• Must be able to work in the Insurance industry
• Previous experience as a Billing Clerk is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make swift, sound judgments
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
