Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support our clients effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in engineering or surveying fieldwork. This role requires a strong ability to work independently on designated tasks while collaborating with clients and fellow environmental professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide CAD mapping services and assist the engineering team in various projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project success.
- Be prepared to travel and work away from home for extended periods as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in CAD design, Surveying and Mapping, or a related engineering/technical field.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in engineering or surveying projects.
- Familiarity with mining, surveying, or construction designs is preferred.
- Proficiency in Map3D or Civil 3D is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- MSHA Part 48 Subpart B training is a plus.
- MSHA Impoundment Inspector training is beneficial.
- Experience in home inspection or willingness to undergo training in this area.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate for long durations.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
