Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer III to join our team at KFI Engineers PC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership on various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to meet project requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on project management and leadership.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
