The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Before and After School Program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess fiscal and program needs of the Center and prepare budgets.
  • Implement policies and recommendations of the Committee to meet fiscal and program needs.
  • Maintain fiscal controls for accountability.
  • Hire, supervise, and terminate administrative and teaching staff.
  • Identify developmental needs of children, professional needs of staff, and support needs of families, and implement curriculum.
  • Plan programs to conform with approval standards and licensing regulations.
  • Monitor staff and program effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree in Elementary Education or related field.
  • Child Development Site Supervisor Permit (Required).
  • Minimum requirement of 5 years in early childhood education, management/admin experience preferred.
  • Ability to juggle multiple duties.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts with staff and customers.
  • Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and ability to learn other programs quickly.
  • Current medical report with tuberculin test.
  • No conviction of a felony, violent crime, or any crime involving moral turpitude, child abuse, or neglect.
  • First Aid and CPR certified.
  • Maintain training requirements in compliance with the Center policies.
