About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site position for a General Manager at one of our MB Collision Centers located in the San Fernando Valley. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring that revenue and key performance indicators are achieved while overseeing the daily operations of the center. This role includes managing personnel, formulating strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction, and upholding quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and provide continuous training and support to staff
- Achieve and surpass center revenue targets and other key performance metrics
- Stay informed about vehicle trends, repair methodologies, and technologies
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members as necessary
- Allocate labor, manage shop productivity, and oversee payroll
- Perform additional related duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive industry management, operations, and customer service
- Strong leadership capabilities and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with collision repair processes, tools, and technologies
- Proficient in budget management and financial analysis
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Experience in implementing quality control measures
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
- I-CAR / ASE certifications are advantageous
