Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and organized Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing an EHS program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement EHS Program: Create and maintain an EHS program that meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and assess potential hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Manage Safety Data Sheets and Chemical Inventory: Maintain accurate records of safety data sheets and chemical inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Field Work and Inspections: Perform site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and Implement Safety Training Programs: Create and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
- Interact with Regulatory Agencies: Communicate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with company and government standards.
- Serve as Safety Expert: Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
- Bachelor's Degree in EHS or related field: A degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or a related field is required.
- Experience in EHS: A minimum of 2 years of experience in EHS is required, preferably in the wind energy industry.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards is essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with employees, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
