About the Role:

The Procurement Manager will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing the procurement processes for Baily International LLC. This position will manage the procurement function across multiple facilities. The individual will be tasked with formulating and executing procurement strategies, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality ingredients and materials to support the company's production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies:

  • Craft and execute effective procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their offerings.

Supplier Management:

  • Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, negotiating advantageous terms.
  • Evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.

Cost Management:

  • Analyze market trends to uncover cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Oversee the procurement budget, ensuring efficient purchasing practices.

Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to guarantee that all procured products meet the company's quality benchmarks.
  • Address any concerns related to product quality, delivery, or supplier performance in a timely manner.

Inventory Management:

  • Work closely with Inventory and Production teams to manage stock levels and ensure timely material availability.
  • Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the food sector.
  • Experience in sourcing meat products is preferred.
