About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our team at the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION. As a Staff Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based treatments for patients with mental health diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote mental health and well-being.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited graduate program.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or District of Columbia.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a professional psychologist, with knowledge of and ability to apply a wide range of professional psychological treatments or assessment methods to a variety of patient populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with patients with mental health diagnoses.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments and assessment methods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
