Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based prevention programs targeting at-risk populations.
  • Collaborate with schools, community sites, and other agencies to provide services and support.
  • Design and facilitate extracurricular and community service activities for students.
  • Administer pre- and post-testing, collect surveys, and develop documentation to track program progress.
  • Communicate program reports to supervisors and stakeholders.
  • Solicit referrals from schools, social services agencies, and families.
  • Provide group facilitation in other prevention programs as needed.
Requirements
  • 2 years of post-high school education in Social Services or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain rapport with staff, stakeholders, and parents.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and at-risk children.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cultural competency and knowledge of child/family dynamics.
  • Program planning and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements
  • Driving for community mobility.
  • Standing for periods of time.
  • Lifting/carrying up to thirty (30) pounds.
