- Implement preventive maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, and general upkeep.
- Negotiate service agreements with maintenance contractors.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards of the facility.
- Uphold safety protocols within the workspace.
- Prepare living units for incoming clients in a timely manner.
- Conduct necessary plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Assist with furniture assembly and relocation tasks.
- Maintain outdoor spaces such as lawns and flowerbeds.
- Perform basic repairs on appliances.
- Prepare the facility for adverse weather conditions.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records for clients, stakeholders, and volunteers in agency databases.
- Oversee grant reporting and manage relationships with funding organizations.
- Follow program protocols and engage in Quality Assurance activities.
- Recruit, assess, and supervise staff members.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping for all personnel.
- Manage staff schedules and address any complaints.
- Keep track of maintenance supply inventory.

- Additional Requirements
- Exhibit competencies relevant to the agency and position.
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Certification in HVAC, CMT, CMM, or similar fields.
- A minimum of 10 years in commercial building maintenance, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work empathetically with victims of abuse.
- Medium Work: Capable of lifting and moving objects of various weights.
- Visual and physical abilities necessary for diverse tasks.
- Required physical movements and accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
