At Danbury Hospital, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Our Respiratory Therapist 3 plays a critical role in achieving this goal by providing expert care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist 3 is responsible for managing the Ventilator/Rounding protocol, helping medical doctors assess cardiopulmonary status, and striving to reduce the length of stay on ventilators and in intensive care units. They will also need to make assessments of patients' cardiopulmonary compromise, treat hypoxia/bronchospasm with proper modalities, and perform non-invasive mask ventilation.

Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy and hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. At least one year of experience is required, as well as advanced level ventilator management skills for adults and NICU.
