Materials Management Technician for Marine Manufacturing

Position Overview:

The Materials Management Technician will be responsible for developing and sustaining documentation related to the Bill of Materials (BOM) for new product initiatives. This documentation is crucial for project financial assessments and will be included in the production release package. The role also involves implementing enhancements within existing boat models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive BOM documentation for new products.
  • Support financial planning for projects through accurate documentation.
  • Facilitate product enhancements for current boat models.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is highly preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing and quality processes relevant to assigned projects is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.

Analytical Skills:

  • Capable of addressing practical problems and managing various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Adept at interpreting a range of instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled formats.
