We are currently in search of a proficient Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to oversee laboratory operations and ensure quality assurance and control for various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting specific QA/QC assessments on construction materials and components, including soil, concrete, aggregates, and asphalt, in accordance with established standards.
- Maintaining comprehensive records of inspections, observations, and test outcomes.
- Organizing laboratory data and preparing detailed reports.
- Calibrating and ensuring the upkeep of laboratory equipment and workspaces.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Geotechnical or Construction Materials Testing laboratory.
- Preferred certifications include ACI and FDOT CTQP.
- Experience in soil and concrete testing, as well as sampling of various construction materials.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and inspectors.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and adhering to deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
