Located in a state-of-the-art facility, Tideman Marine is committed to the innovative construction of welded HDPE boats and tailored marine solutions.

The Electrical Technician is responsible for a diverse range of tasks within a compact industrial boat production environment. Responsibilities may encompass intricate electrical tasks on the assembly line, panel wiring, and troubleshooting.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducts assembly line electrical tasks such as running drops and bus bars, and connecting simpler components.
  • Installs various outboard motors.
  • Integrates different types of equipment.
  • Responsible for the installation of all wiring, fuel, control, and oil systems.
  • Ensures correct sizing and approval of fuel, exhaust, and water hoses.
  • Installs steering systems following OEM guidelines.
  • Calibrates gauges according to OEM specifications.
  • Possesses familiarity with ABYC standards and installs equipment in accordance with these guidelines.
  • Demonstrates the ability to install various drive systems, including water jets, inboard gas and diesel, stern drive, shaft drive, and various outboards.
  • Capable of fabricating equipment panels and brackets as required.
  • Installs fresh/raw water and sanitary systems, ensuring proper separation of systems.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of electrical experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • ABYC Standards certification is a plus.
