We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and promoting healthy lifestyles through education and counseling.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and health screenings.
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and improve health literacy.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
