Pharmacy Technician

At Walgreens, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in our pharmacy team, working closely with pharmacists to ensure our customers receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
- Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions.
- Process prescriptions, including entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in training and development programs to maintain knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
