InsideHigherEd is seeking a highly skilled Technology Business Development and Licensing Officer to drive innovation and commercialization of life sciences research and inventions.
About the Role:- Identify, evaluate, and position for commercial opportunities a portfolio of interdisciplinary research and inventions with a focus on life sciences.
- Develop business development and licensing strategies, draft and negotiate license terms and conditions.
- Promote InsideHigherEd's long-term relationship with industry and increase intellectual property and technology commercialization awareness within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences and a minimum of five – six years related business development and/or licensing experience.
- Desirable qualifications include a Master's degree or higher in Business, Engineering or related field, and experience in a technology transfer office and/or industry licensing role.
- A competitive salary range of $70,000-90,000.
- A hybrid schedule with an option to split time between office and remote work, in accordance with the company's telecommuting policy.
- A background check is required for this position.
