Job Overview

Position Summary

This role plays a vital part in achieving the sales objectives of the agency or specialized department as outlined by the agent, contributing to both short-term and long-term agency growth strategies. Responsibilities encompass acquiring new clients, exploring cross-selling opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, enhancing client retention, and achieving profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Must obtain necessary licenses within the initial probationary period, covering Personal, Commercial, and Life, Accident, and Health insurance.
  • Actively seeks and secures new business opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the agent to assess and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Conducts field underwriting and pricing for new accounts.
  • Stays informed about new products and initiatives, while pursuing personal and professional development.
  • Proactively gathers expiration dates from new clients and prospects.
  • Achieves production targets and goals set by the agent.
  • Maintains detailed monthly sales records and submits them for review to the agent or operations manager.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will possess basic computer skills, fundamental math abilities, strong analytical skills, conflict resolution capabilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits (Post-Probation Period):

  • $200 monthly stipend for health insurance coverage.
