Ad Sales Internship for Academic Year at NBC 10 Philadelphia

Position Overview:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to support the Sales department at NBC 10 Philadelphia, where you will engage in various administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales team with essential administrative duties, which may include crafting sales presentations, coordinating client meetings, and identifying new business opportunities through outreach efforts.
- Help organize and execute station-sponsored events and client-related activities.
- Conduct market analysis to pinpoint potential clients and emerging industry trends. Prepare reports on competitor strategies for the Sales team.
- Facilitate the scheduling of client meetings and support follow-up communications.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of advertising initiatives, including the preparation of promotional materials, development of PowerPoint presentations, and monitoring of campaign effectiveness.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions to gain insights into the sales process.
- Observe and engage in the sales workflow.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Currently pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution.
- Must be at least a sophomore in your academic program.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Willingness to work in Philadelphia, PA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Genuine interest in media sales and advertising, with a proactive approach to learning.
- Bilingual candidates, particularly in English and Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
