Job Summary

FBC Mortgage, LLC is seeking a seasoned Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining a quality network of business relationships to generate new mortgage lending opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and develop business relationships with realtors, builders, and other professionals to generate new mortgage lending opportunities.
  • Interview new and existing customers to determine their financial needs and advise them on appropriate products, terms, and pricing.
  • Navigate borrowers through the loan process, gathering required information through clear and timely communication.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant loan documentation, meeting industry regulations and sales goals.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of retail residential mortgage origination experience.
  • Documented residential mortgage loans closed volume in the past 12 months of $750,000 – $1 million per month in production.
  • Established relationships with local referral networks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.
  • Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
  • Strong PC skills and experience utilizing laptop technology.
  • Must meet and comply with all requirements for Mortgage Loan Originators set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of the required background checks and maintain active NMLS licensure.
