**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments, providing personalized nutrition counseling, and developing tailored nutrition care plans for our patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assess and counsel patients on nutrition-related health issues, taking into account their medical and nutritional needs, laboratory results, cultural and personal preferences, finances, and goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition care plans, including education and counseling on healthy eating habits and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in community outreach efforts, educating patients and the public on the importance of good nutrition and its impact on overall health.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and healthcare, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.

**Requirements:**

  • Masters degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
  • Substitutions allowed: Bachelors degree in Food, Nutrition, or a related field and Certified Diabetes Educator certification.
  • Three years of professional experience as a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist or Registered Dietitian, preferably in a hospital or public health setting.
