Work Schedule: Flexible days and hours, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
Compensation: $36.00-$41.00 per hour based on experience.
Travel Compensation: Additional pay for travel time to and from the facility.
Contract Duration: 8-13 weeks with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutrition evaluations using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) for assigned patients.
- Create and execute a personalized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) plan aligned with the patient's health objectives.
- Customize dietary prescriptions based on individual physical and metabolic requirements.
- Employ evidence-based nutrition guidelines and Whole Health Principles to establish collaborative goals with patients and devise a care plan addressing the root causes of nutrition issues.
- Order laboratory tests, dietary plans, and consultations as per Scope of Practice / Clinical privileges.
- Assess and track the effectiveness and outcomes of MNT interventions.
- Review the patient's response to care based on defined, measurable outcomes and adjust the plan as necessary.
- Document the nutrition care plan in the patient's medical records.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to assess the readiness of patients and/or caregivers to learn and their potential for behavior change.
- Identify drug-nutrient interactions and drug-drug incompatibilities, advising patients on their effects on nutritional status and nutrient absorption.
- Provide follow-up nutrition education/counseling based on the patient's treatment objectives and determine when to refer to other providers or services.
- Complete MDS/Care plans promptly, as required.
Flexibility for 4-10 hour shifts is also available.
